Since El Arte de Alejandro Colucci , the book published by Dolmen Books in 2011, Alejandro broadened his repertoire through the creation of illustrated books.
In 2015, Easton Press commissioned Alejandro to create the visuals for a deluxe edition of the 1886 classic gothic novella by Robert Louis Stevenson: Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
In 2016, the renowned spanish horror & fantasy publisher Valdemar commissioned Alejandro to illustrate Carmilla and other Female Vampire Tales, containing short stories by Edgar Allan Poe, Sheridan Le Fanu, F. Marion Crawford, Manly Wade Wellman, and Théophile Gautier.
In 2017, Penguin Random House once again required Alejandro's art to return to the universe of author John Katzenbach, for whom he had already created several covers of his books. This time, to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of his emblematic novel
The Analyst, in an illustrated edition.

In 2021, Alianza Editorial commissioned Alejandro to create the illustrations for Joe Abercrombie's The Blade Itself, in its Spanish edition. The first book of the renowned trilogy The First Law.
He is currently working on the illustrated edition of the classic The Worm Ouroboros by E. R. Eddison, a book that will be published in the USA in 2023 by Centipede Press.
And in the meantime, the beautiful project Geralt de Rivia / The Witcher: The Illustrated Edition has started to be published in Serbia. The complete 9 Books of the new edition include around 60 new illustrations and new book covers.
